The ITAS Mountain Book Prize has opened submissions for its 53rd edition, covering works published between 1 January and 31 December 2026. Authors and publishers may enter five sections: mountaineering and mountain sports, guides and maps, books for young readers, research and the environment, and mountain life and stories. Applicants must complete the form on the official website and send eight copies to the prize office in Trento by 31 January 2027. The awards ceremony will take place in April during the Trento Film Festival week. Promoted by ITAS Mutua, the prize continues to examine highland territories through fiction, reportage, research, illustration and practical tools for experiencing mountain landscapes.
