Nicoletta Vallorani and Veronica De Simone feature among the winners of the 2026 Premio Italia. In a report published on Fantascienza.com on 18 October, Silvio Sosio, chair of the committee administering the prize, names Vallorani’s Ogni cosa e nessuna, published by Zona 42, as the science-fiction novel winner. De Simone’s Bashavert, from Moscabianca, takes the fantasy novel category.

The prizes were presented at Stranimondi in Milan. Other literary results include Charles Stross’s Grovigli d’incubi in the international novel category and Tecnologie del futuro, edited by Marco Passarello, among anthologies. Rather than one simple ranking, the results reveal a diverse field: novels, short stories and publishing projects using imagination to broaden the ways in which readers can look at reality.
