Twenty-five years after the Disney comic began, W.I.T.C.H. returns as an original novel in Lodovica Comello’s Il cuore solo sa. Published on 13 October by Disney Libri/Giunti, the 272-page book starts from a “what if”: Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin are now young adults who have completed their studies and lost all memory of their powers and former bond. A chain of coincidences draws them back to Heatherfield as the balance between worlds begins to fracture again. Giunti presents the novel as a meeting of magic, friendship, growth and nostalgia, aimed both at longtime readers and a new generation. The announcement dates from 19 October: not a development from today, but an editorial project consciously revisiting the saga’s legacy.
