Before becoming a book, a story can begin at a school desk. That is the focus of the Foligno Fantasy Festival announced by the municipality on 14 October. On Saturday 17 October, from 10.30am, Palazzo Trinci’s Sala Rossa will host a schools writing competition and a meeting with Federico Taddia.

The author and communicator will present the fantasy-story awards at the fifth edition, promoted by cultural association Eteria. Prizes include gift cards for books, followed by a signing organised by Libreria Giunti al Punto. The afternoon continues with Star Wars-inspired activities. For anyone interested in young readers, the event connects the invention of a story, sharing it publicly and the opportunity to meet an author.
